Important Update: Veracode Dynamic Analysis is Evolving

We are unifying our DAST products into a single, modern platform to give you a faster, more powerful scanning experience. As part of this evolution, we will be retiring the legacy Veracode Dynamic Analysis (DA) product.

All users will transition to the unified Veracode DAST platform, which offers:

  • Enhanced Detection: Deeper visibility into risks with more precise scanning.
  • Modern UI: A streamlined, intuitive interface built for efficiency.
  • Seamless EASM Integration: Discover and test your full attack surface in one workflow.

This change ensures you have the best tools to build secure software without slowing down.

We are making a significant upgrade to our Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) portfolio to provide you with a more powerful and streamlined experience. Over the coming months, we will be unifying our DAST scan engines and consolidating all capabilities into a single, modern platform: Veracode DAST.

This transition represents the next step in our commitment to delivering best-in-class security tools. By combining the most powerful features from Veracode Dynamic Analysis (DA) and DAST Essentials, we are creating one platform that is faster, more precise, and built to meet the needs of modern development and security teams.

What This Means for You

This consolidation is the first step toward retiring the legacy Veracode Dynamic Analysis (DA) product. The new, unified Veracode DAST platform will provide:

  • A Modern, Intuitive Interface: A streamlined user experience designed for efficiency.
  • Enhanced Detection Capabilities: Deeper visibility into your application’s security posture with expanded port scanning, enhanced fingerprinting, extended TLS checks, and more rigorous HTTP header analysis.
  • Greater Flexibility and Power: Access to advanced features like AI-assisted login scripting and seamless integration with Veracode EASM for complete attack surface management.
  • Consistent, Reliable Results: A single scan engine ensures that you get the same high-quality results across all your dynamic testing activities.

As a result of these enhancements, you will likely see an increase in findings in your upcoming scan results. These do not represent new vulnerabilities in your code, but rather our improved ability to detect existing risks.

The Transition Plan

Our goal is to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for all customers.

For Current Dynamic Analysis (DA) Customers:

The migration to the unified Veracode DAST platform will begin in January 2026 and conclude by September 30, 2026.

  • No Action Required Now: Your Customer Success Manager will contact you to create a specific migration plan for your organization.
  • No Loss of Functionality: We will only migrate your organization when full feature parity for your use cases is available on the new platform.
  • Preserved Scan History: All scan history from DA will be preserved as long as your applications remain linked in the Veracode platform.

For Current DAST Essentials Customers:

You are already on our future-forward platform.

  • Automatic Upgrades: Starting in January 2026, your "Full Scan" targets will automatically convert to "Enterprise Mode," our new standard for comprehensive scanning.
  • Product Renaming: DAST Essentials will simply be renamed to "Veracode DAST."

We are confident that this unified platform will help you reduce risk and build secure software more effectively. For more details on this transition, please review our FAQs.
