Sandbox Limits
Increasing the number of Concurrent Sandbox Scans raises concerns about performance and the support response should initially be that it is not possible to increase the number of Concurrent Sandbox Scans.
If there is pushback from the client, obtain the business needs for the increase and create an Engineering ticket with the Engineering Team Name "Zoo". - there will need to be approval from the Product Management team to authorize the increase. The CSM (if there is one on the account) should be added as a watcher on the ticket, and should be included on the SalesForce case for awareness.
Note: If the customer is trying to do more simultaneous scans, they should be encouraged to use Pipeline Scans. If the customer has a large number of microservices, it is recommend they use one application profile per microservice.
