Ideas FAQ
What is Ideas?
Ideas (https://community.veracode.com/s/ideas) is where Veracode customers can view, submit, comment, and vote on requests for enhancement to Veracode products and services.
Who can submit an Idea?
The Ideas feature within the Veracode Community is restricted to accept input from Veracode customers only. What's the Ideas review process?
The Veracode Product team reviews all feedback submissions as input to the Veracode Roadmap and responds to the Ideas that receive three upvotes or more.
- What happens to ideas which get 3 votes but can't be implemented? We will give an answer as we do today to the high voted ideas, and sometimes that answer will be No. Not every popular idea will be implemented; there isn’t enough time to do everything even if it is feasible.
- What happens to ideas with less than 3 votes? Ideas with fewer than three votes don’t get a response but they don’t disappear. A customer can escalate through their account team to get a response for a low-voted Idea. And even if we don’t respond, we do read all the feedback.
Pro-Tip
- Search first to see if a similar Idea has been submitted before. If there is a tweak you wish to make to an existing Idea, you can add a comment to express additional details.
- Upvote Ideas that resonate with your needs. The more community support an Idea receives, the more likely it will be considered or prioritized for implementation.
- Subscribe to stay connected with Ideas that are relevant to you.
