What's Community Launch Pad?

Community Launch Pad is an onboarding feature that helps you complete your Community profile and get oriented in the forum. Login or register for the Community to begin with.

 

What's in it for me?

Upon completing the Launch Pad, you will:

  • be familiar with the different resources available to you: content, support services, and opportunities to engage with other users and the Veracode team.

  • get a customized Community experience with content more relevant to your roles and interests.

Who has access to this feature?

Every authenticated Community members. Login or register for the Community to get access! You will see a pop-up screen that takes you to the Launch Pad as soon as you log in.

How long does it take to complete?

A few minutes :) 
 

What do I need to get started?

A Community nickname in mind and a cool image for your profile picture (change your mind later? don't worry -- you can upload new pictures and change your nickname anytime on My profile page.)
 

What are the steps in the Launch Pad and what to expect?

  1. Welcome - you'll start here!
  2. Profile - where you can customize your profile (nickname, picture, bio)
  3. Role - where you can share your functional role
  4. Topics - where you can browse trending topics and start following those of your interests
  5. User Groups - where you can browse and join the popular user groups
  6. Notification Management - where you will learn how to toggle your notification settings
  7. Community Tour (coming soon) - where you will learn what's available in the Community in a two-min video
  8. Completed - you'll be all set by then 
 

Can I pause and come back later?

Absolutely! You can close the pop-up window and come back anytime. There will be a Launch Pad checklist widget on the right of your homepage for you to pick up where you left off.
