What is "Expert Member" and How to Be Listed

Expert Member is a feature that identifies expert members based on reputation score which factors in best answers, mentions, upvotes on questions and posts, and endorsement.

 

How to be listed as Expert Member

  • Create quality posts and comments - the more upvotes and best answers you receive, the more reputation score will be added to your profile.
  • Increase your visibility - the more "@mentions" you receive, the higher your reputation score.
  • Have your peers endorse you - endorsement is one of the the most highly weighted factors for Knowledgeable People algorithm. 

How to endorse your peer's expertise

  1. Click on the Community member's username that takes you to their profile.
  2. Navigate to the Areas of Expertise widget on the right side of the member’s profile page.
  3. Add a topic and/or click on the thumb beside an existing topic.
